statement of faith
One true God
In the one true God, who exists eternally and co-equally in the three persons of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
That this God has revealed Himself to human kind through the Scriptures, known as the Holy Bible, consisting the sixty- six (66) books of the orthodox faith. The Bible is our supreme and final authority.
That Jesus was and is the Only Begotten Son of God. Through his perfect life, sacrificial death on the cross and resurrection He provides the only means of salvation for human kind. The saved will be resurrected to eternal life and the lost to eternal punishment.
That humankind was created in the image of God and our purpose for life is to be found in God.
That salvation from sin has been offered to humankind by the grace of God through faith in Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit indwells all true believers in Christ.
That all true believers are members of the Body of Christ, the Church.
This Word of God proclaims that there is but one Spirit, one Lord, one Faith, one baptism and one God of all who is over all and through all and in all (Ephesians 4:4ff)
The Lord Jesus prayed for the unity of those who would believe in Him. (John 17).
Therefore, although there are differences that characterize our particular ecclesiastical beliefs, ministries and connections, there is in the Lord Jesus a more basic bond that unites all Christians.
It is therefore fitting that this voluntary association of Christians should exist to accomplish the following:
- To fulfill our callings as ministers of the gospel by sharing in community and global ministries.
- As children of God to provide fellowship and encouragement among the members of this organization and the wider Christian community.
- And to pray for one another and for the Kingdom of Christ, both here on earth and in the life to come.
