National Day of Prayer in Cherokee County, Georgia

As National Day of Prayer celebrates its 75th anniversary, we are preparing for a special and expanded National Day of Prayer gathering this year. Plans are underway for a full day of meaningful events — beginning with a morning breakfast and continuing through an evening worship service.

We invite you to join us in this milestone celebration and unite in prayer with churches, leaders, and community members across Cherokee County. We will continue to add NDP events as they are scheduled. Please check back soon for a complete schedule of National Day of Prayer events taking place throughout the county.

12:00 Noon – 1:00 PM: Canton (Downtown) Gazebo Across from the Historic Courthouse, 130 East Main Street, Canton, GA 30114.  A public outdoor gathering featuring live music and community-led prayer.

12:00 Noon:  COBB COUNTY/Kennesaw: Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Veteran Mausoleum (weather permitting); 2950 Cobb Pkwy NW
